About Everyday Independence

We are a dynamic organisation committed to changing the game for people with disabilities. With over 40 hubs across Australia, we work in the social and early childhood Key Worker models, providing interventions to NDIS participants and their families.

About the Role

We are seeking a Key Worker to deliver interventions to children aged 0-8 and their families in Northern Brisbane and surrounding areas. This is a full-time or part-time (4 days per week) position, with a focus on supporting before/after school appointments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy and support to children and their families in diverse settings, including homes, schools, and community centres
  • Assess and communicate with families to understand their needs and goals
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as Speech Pathologists and Educators, to support children's development
  • Document and bill for sessions through our online participant management system
  • Provide support for children and their families, including establishing consistent routines and providing behavioral support strategies

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and registration (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist, or Educator)
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with children (aged 0-8) and their families
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with disability
  • Positive and flexible approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and team player
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth
  • Valid Australian drivers license
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Working with Childrens Check
