We are seeking a part-time pharmacist to cover a 13-month maternity leave period at a busy hospital pharmacy.

Job Description:
  • Dispense and supply medications and pharmacy products
  • Coordinate medication requirements for patients, including discharges and outpatient needs
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, carers, and hospital staff
  • Attend to front-of-shop duties and support the day-to-day operations of the dispensary
Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate customers on medication use, health promotion, and general pharmacy queries
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines
  • Prepare and package medications in dosage as necessary
  • Ensure the smooth running of the pharmacy
About You:
  • You're a registered pharmacist who enjoys working in a retail pharmacy environment
  • You're reliable, approachable, and committed to delivering high-quality service
  • You work well independently and as part of a team
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist with no restrictions on practice
  • Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
  • Australian working rights, valid for at least 13-months from time of employment
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and multitask
