As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in driving process improvements across our Water, Wastewater & Recycled Water, and Resource Recovery systems.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Contribute to plant operations in all conditions and ensure that they align with Treatment and Sydney Water frameworks, including health and safety requirements, quality management protocols, incident response, and business continuity frameworks.">
  • Oversee product performance across Treatment and Network systems to meet end-user requirements, working closely with Network teams.">
  • Monitor and review production performance to identify, prevent, and manage trends and exceptions likely to impact on safety, public health, customers, environment, or reputation.">
  • Contribute to Hub business improvement projects (including implementation) according to the planned Production Plan and business improvement project plans.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • At least 5 years' experience in a fast-paced operational team, managing and optimizing production processes in Water, Wastewater, Recycled Water, and/or Resource Recovery systems.">
  • Strong understanding of process optimization in Water or Wastewater facilities.">
  • Experience with SCADA systems, analytics software, and Microsoft Office.">
  • Familiar with quality management systems (ISO 9000, 14000, 4801).">
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.">
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change.">
  • Interest in data analytics, process control, and risk management.">
  • Technical skills for diagnosing and maintaining processes and assets.">
