Support a Thriving M&A Practice in Sydney

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our industry-leading M&A practice group on a full-time basis in Sydney.

About the Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Assistant looking to take their career to the next level. As a key member of our Sydney M&A team, you will play an integral role supporting Partners Tony Damian, Nicole Pedler, and Amelia Morgan.

  • Billing and Administration: Manage billing processes for your direct team, including clients with complex requirements.
  • Meeting and Event Preparation: Assist with meeting and event preparation, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Coach and mentor Administrative Assistants to develop their skills.
  • Business Development: Assist with business development needs, driving growth and success.
  • Critical Coordination: Coordinate and manage various responsibilities and deliverables.
  • Travel and Diary Management: Manage Partners' internal and external appointments, ensuring timely and efficient management.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Legal Assistant.
  • Billing Experience: Previous experience in billing is essential.
  • Proactive Approach: Ability to anticipate Partner requirements, reducing administrative time.
  • Office Presence: Must be able to work at least four days in the office.
  • Matter Management: Previous matter management experience is beneficial.
  • Time Management: Strong time management and organisational skills are required.
  • Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
