About the Opportunity

As an Enterprise Risk Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our Superannuation, Platform, and Investment businesses. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the coordination and timely delivery of ERM reporting to AMP and Business Unit Boards/Committees, Management forums, and leaders.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, consult, and advise senior stakeholders while maintaining exceptional relationships. Experience in risk management and compliance is essential, particularly in a superannuation and/or platforms environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide input, oversight, review, and challenge for core areas and deliverables, including legal entity and business unit risk profiles, thematic or targeted risk reviews, and regulatory change management.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant regulations, such as the SIS Act, Corporation Act, and AFS Licence requirements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure effective risk management and compliance practices are implemented and maintained.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality reports to boards, committees, and management forums.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in risk management and compliance, preferably in a superannuation and/or platforms environment.
  • Intermediate knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and policies.
  • Good understanding of the Australian financial services industry, with a preference for superannuation and investments.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
