Are you a seasoned professional looking to take on a leadership role in recruitment projects? We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director who can drive innovation, workforce strategy and organisational excellence across the NSW public sector.

About the Role

This is a high-impact position that requires strong leadership skills, expertise in project management, process improvement and change delivery. As our new Associate Director, Recruitment Projects, you will lead and deliver a portfolio of strategic initiatives that support whole-of-government workforce priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex programs involving recruitment process improvement, workforce transformation and organisational change
  • Manage high-value projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with broader organisational strategies and government priorities
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, set strategic direction and oversee delivery to ensure timely, budget-friendly and high-standard results
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record in driving improvements to business and recruitment processes using human-centred design or Lean/Agile methodologies
  • Excellent project management expertise, particularly in areas such as recruitment systems or workforce reform
  • Experience in leading organisational change initiatives that support cultural and operational shifts in fast-paced environments
  • Skill in managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, building consensus and influencing decision-making
  • Able to translate big-picture objectives into actionable project plans, aligning delivery to broader government and organisational goals
