About the Role: Housekeeping Assistant

We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as Housekeeping Assistants. In this role, you will provide catering, laundry, and cleaning services to our aged care clients in a home-like environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation and providing a quality dining experience
  • Supporting colleagues and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
  • Working safely to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents, adhering to policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of cleaning and food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with diverse individuals
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain
