About the Role

We have a new opportunity available for a Senior Team Lead for Cleaning Operations to join our team at Defence Plaza Melbourne in a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm).

This role offers a chance to work in an essential services business, providing cleaning services in a friendly and supportive team environment. Uniforms and all necessary cleaning equipment will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a dynamic team, providing guidance and support to ensure success in their work
  • Perform hands-on general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting high-touch areas, etc.
  • Develop rosters for scheduled and reactive cleaning requirements
  • Motivate team members and encourage commitment
  • Supervise cleaning team members
  • Collaborate with the Cleaning Manager on staff-related matters
Requirements
  • Experience leading a team
  • Cleaning experience
  • Good understanding of OHS and environmental policies and procedures
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • An eye for detail and proactive approach
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
What We Offer

You must be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.

Estimated Salary
