Learning Support Professional

We are seeking a Specialist Learning Support Teacher to join our team at OneSchool Global - Bairnsdale Campus VIC AUS. This is a full-time, permanent position starting at the beginning of Term 4 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- SUPPORTING STUDENTS WITH NEURODIVERSITY NEEDS
- INDIVIDUALISED EDUCATION PLANNING: Develop and implement personalised learning programs with strong skills in differentiation and adjustment documentation (aligned to NCCD).
- COLLABORATION: Work closely with classroom teachers, families, allied health professionals, and support staff to create a consistent approach.
- BHVIOUR AND ENGAGEMENT STRATEGIES: Familiarity with trauma-informed practice, PBS (Positive Behaviour Support), and approaches like "Kids Do Well If They Can" (Ross Greene).
- COMMUNICATION SUPPORTS: Understanding of AAC, visuals, and strategies for supporting expressive/receptive language.
- LEADERSHIP WITHIN SUPPORT: Ability to mentor, coordinate, and upskill colleagues in inclusive practice.
- PUBLIC CARE AND DIGNITY: Ability to provide respectful support with toileting and hygiene needs, following student care plans, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding the student's dignity at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a VIT Registered teacher with a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Syllabus and be willing to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies.
