About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Professional to provide support for an exemplary learning environment for students, supporting their learning and wellbeing needs to reach their full potential.

With a strong focus on effective communication, we work in partnership with families, enabling students to develop to their full intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual potential.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Learning Support Officer with a positive, flexible approach. You will work collaboratively with teachers, assistants, and the allied health team to support student learning outcomes, assisting with the preparation of learning materials.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with teachers, assistants or allied health staff to implement individual and group programs to support learning and wellbeing outcomes.
- Support all programs including Hydrotherapy, school activities, Positive Behaviour Supports and Interventions, excursions, and school community events.
- Work effectively with parents displaying professional behaviour with an understanding of the issues affecting parents of a child with a disability.
- Participate actively in all college activities including lunch, recess, staff room duty and special events.
- Attend to the varying personal and physical needs of students including toileting and meal assistance.
Qualifications
- A minimum Certificate 3 in Disability Services or Education Support or equivalent relevant qualifications or experience.
- Current Level Two First Aid qualifications.
- Current Working with Children Check.
Desirable
- Some experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
