Translation Specialist

Seeking a Translation Specialist to provide linguistic support for humanitarian programs in Turkey and Syria.

The ideal candidate will have excellent translation skills, both written and oral, as well as strong analytical and communication abilities.

  • Translate various documents, including weekly and monthly reports, work plans, brochures, surveys, and survey results from Arabic into English and Turkish.
  • Provide oral translation during meetings and workshops, ensuring effective communication between program staff and stakeholders.
  • Summarize Arabic documents in English and Turkish, presenting findings to management.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant field, such as linguistics or translation studies.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in translation, preferably in the humanitarian sector.
  • Fluency in Arabic, Turkish, and English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
