About the role

This Senior Manager Financial Crime position plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the organisation and its stakeholders against financial crime.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying investigating and mitigating risks associated with money laundering fraud and other financial crime.

They will manage compliance with regulatory requirements and protect the integrity of the organisation.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist in developing implementing and maintaining the Anti-Money Laundering Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) Program framework supporting policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing and implementing fraud and corruption detection systems.
  • Maintain awareness of the current regulatory environment and stay up to date with emerging regulatory requirements and guidance as well as best industry practices pertaining to AML/CTF and sanctions.
  • Design and review Fraud policies processes risk and controls to meet regulatory requirements and operate within risk appetite.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to identify assess and manage financial crime risks.
Skills and experience
  • Proven experience as a Financial Crime Specialist with advanced knowledge of AML/CTF regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • BSc degree in Finance or related field.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial crime regulation and a proven track record of managing risk and compliance.

They will be highly organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role as the candidate will need to build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
