Financial Support Specialist

Seeking a skilled and motivated professional to assume the role of Accounts Officer.
We are looking for an experienced accounting expert to provide exceptional financial support to our departmental lead and diverse customer base, working from Geelong, Victoria.
Main Responsibilities:
- Follow up on job status and prepare invoices for completed jobs
- Liaise with operational staff and/or the Accounts Manager to obtain necessary information for invoice creation
- Act as a backup to receive and process customer payments, including credit card payments
- Meet debt collection targets and reconcile debtors
- Prepare weekly reports
- Manage compliance with external stakeholders' induction and safety requirements
Requirements:
- Full working rights in Australia
- Previous experience in accounting or finance (highly advantageous)
- High level of initiative and ability to take personal responsibility
- Microsoft Office skills
- Team player with strong multitasking, organisational and prioritisation skills
- Fully COVID-19 vaccinated
