As a specialist in paediatric palliative medicine, you will deliver high-quality care to children and their families.
You will collaborate with internal and external healthcare teams to provide coordinated care and contribute to the education and training of medical students and junior doctors.
- Provide specialist paediatric palliative care across various settings including inpatient, outpatient and community care
- Participate in after-hours support and statewide on-call advisory services
- Work collaboratively with internal and external healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Contribute to education and training for medical students, junior doctors, nurses and allied health professionals
- Engage in research, quality improvement and service development initiatives
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (or equivalent)
- Current specialist registration with the relevant health authority
- Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary teamwork and compassionate care delivery
- Strong communication, leadership and teaching skills
