Job Title: Mechanical Isolations Coordinator

We are seeking a qualified trade professional to fill a unique position that combines mechanical fitting skills with the coordination of mechanical isolations on various marine systems.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on Navy ships, utilizing your expertise in mechanical fitting and isolation procedures.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or higher and hold a valid White Card and C-class driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To perform mechanical fitting tasks relevant to your qualifications and experience
  • Actively support leading hands and supervisors in managing task packs, inclusive of inspection and test plans (ITPs) and safe work method statements (SWMS)
  • Liaise with clients to prioritize scheduling of isolations as directed
  • Attend critical risk meetings as the company representative
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or higher
  • Valid White Card and C-class driver's license
  • Previous experience in a marine trade is highly regarded
Preferred Skills:
  • 4 years' experience in a marine trade
  • Ability to read, understand, interpret repair specifications, work instructions, and repair plans
  • Ability to read, understand, and complete risk assessment tools
  • Basic computer skills, such as using Microsoft 365
