
A Role in Reintegration and Rehabilitation

This role is part of a team at the Clarence Correctional Centre, focusing on supervising and managing inmates to ensure a safe, secure, and rehabilitative environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and managing inmates while promoting rehabilitation and reintegration.
- Conducting searches, monitoring inmate activities, and maintaining a structured and secure environment.
- Using communication and problem-solving skills to defuse tense situations and maintain order.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure inmate welfare.
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
- A willingness to complete a Certificate III in Correctional Practice (fully funded).
- Strong communication, empathy, and resilience.
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems with sound judgment.
- Physical fitness to meet role demands.
- A valid Driver's Licence.
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a Police Check and full probity assessment. This position requires individuals who are committed to supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates.
