Job Summary:

The Solar Farm Operations Manager is responsible for leading, developing staff and service providers to complete assigned tasks and meet or exceed key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a safety-first culture with zero harm incidents
  • Identify task hazards, assess risks, and implement control strategies to minimize losses
  • Ensure operational efficiency of 99% at the solar farm
  • Complete inspections and testing as scheduled to maintain high-quality standards
  • Manage condition-based maintenance needs, obtain approvals, schedule, and complete work efficiently
  • Collaborate with technical staff to resolve solar plant performance gaps and improve output
  • Monitor and control resource requirements to meet business objectives
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend training or recruitment to enhance team capabilities
  • Contribute to the development of the solar farm's operations and maintenance strategy
  • Manage the CMMS system for job tracking and asset maintenance planning
  • Support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Internal: Asset O&M Manager, Contract Support, Other Site Leaders
  • External: Contractors, Suppliers & Subcontractors

Requirements:

  • High Voltage Qualification/Electrical Licenses/Electrical Contractor Licenses
