Deliver complex remedial works including concrete repair, structural strengthening, protective coatings, and waterproofing to extend the life of key infrastructure.
About the Role- You will work alongside a project manager to deliver specialist remedial projects across Queensland.
- Lead and contribute to works in a hands-on, technically focused environment on the Gold Coast.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of remedial projects across structures, buildings, and bridges.
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, specifications, and engineering designs.
- Ensure project activities meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Support cost control, scheduling, and project forecasting.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct inspections, complete QA documentation, and maintain reporting standards.
- Provide technical guidance and on-site supervision.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years' experience in a Graduate, Junior, or Site Engineer role, ideally within remedial, structural, or civil construction.
- Exposure to concrete remediation, waterproofing, structural strengthening, or coatings is highly regarded.
- Solid understanding of Australian engineering codes and site practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with project or engineering software is a plus.
