Caring Support Worker for Individuals with Complex Needs

We are seeking a skilled Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex behaviors and be able to build trust with clients while maintaining a safe environment.
About the Role:- Implement individualized behavior support plans to cater to each client's specific needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer prescribed medications according to established care plans.
- Facilitate community access, social engagements, and appointments.
- Employ de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviors.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, incidents, and changes in behavior or health status.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure consistent care.
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with complex behaviors is desirable.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Please note that all applicants must hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and current First Aid and CPR certification. A reliable vehicle and driver's license are also essential.
