Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily operations of the housekeeping department with precision and attention to detail.

  • Assist in onboarding, training, mentoring, and leading a team of housekeeping staff to provide exceptional service, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies to maintain a well-stocked department, optimizing efficiency and reducing waste.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms and public areas meet our luxury standards, upholding the highest level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally, demonstrating empathy and a customer-centric approach.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of hotel services and amenities to assist guests effectively, providing personalized recommendations and solutions.
  • Uphold safety and cleanliness standards, including compliance with health and safety regulations, prioritizing the well-being of our guests and staff.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor role in a hotel is highly desirable, with a proven track record of success in delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building strong relationships with colleagues and guests alike.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve high standards, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of housekeeping management software, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.
  • Fitness to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting objects up to 23 kg.
  • Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
