Aged Care Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Trainee Aged Care Worker.

No experience is required, as we offer on-the-job training. The successful candidate will be part-time (minimum 15 hours per week), with shifts available Monday to Friday.

As an Aged Care Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care to residents.

You will work closely with our experienced staff to learn the essential skills and responsibilities of an Aged Care Worker.

The hourly rate for this position starts from $24.51 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, and grooming.
  • Participate in bed making, room tidying up, and meal preparation.
  • Engage with residents through social activities and build positive relationships.
  • Develop strong communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements:
  • Have a great attitude and be willing to learn.
  • Be reliable and have regular availability.
  • Hold working rights in Australia.
  • Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
