Behaviour Support Practitioner

  • Work in diverse settings, including homes, schools, and community centers
  • Utilize assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing funding opportunities
  • Build meaningful relationships with participants and their support networks
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans with function-based strategies, utilizing positive behaviour support framework
  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBAs)
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Masters or Graduate Diploma) and relevant registration
  • Deemed status as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
