**Job Title:** Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide support to individuals with challenging behaviour. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with participants and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in community, private or acute settings and possess the necessary skills and qualifications to deliver high-quality support.

About the Role
  • Building strong relationships with participants and stakeholders
  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
  • Creating and implementing effective Behaviour Support Plans
  • Educating and training carers and support teams
  • Reviewing and reducing restrictive practices in line with NDIS guidelines
  • Monitoring outcomes through regular data collection
Requirements
  • Endorsed as 'Proficient' or above against the PBS Capability Framework (evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission also required).
  • You hold a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences).
  • You have full Australian working rights.
  • You have prior experience in community, private or acute settings.
  • You have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver's licence.
  • You have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working with children check.
