Global Scale Operations Strategist

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced professional to drive scale, schedule, and cost optimization within Amazon's Hub Pick-up and Returns division.
About the Job
As a Global Scale Operations Strategist, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional project teams, planning, organizing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing new countries to scale-ready state
- Building strong partnerships with product and tech leaders to influence the development of features that resolve operational inefficiencies, improve scaling velocity, and enhance the operator/external partner experience
- Leading initiatives to optimize for scale, schedule, and cost
- Preparing and delivering data-driven operational business reviews to senior management
- Ownership of the operational budget for each functional area, including productivity, labor planning, CapEx, and OpEx
- Responsible for providing strategic level/long-term planning (3, 6, and 12 months out) including labor planning, forecasting, and peak season planning
- Developing and optimizing mechanisms and tools to enable scalable and efficient partner engagement
- Driving usage of Hub Pick-up and Returns by Amazon customers
- Implementing review mechanisms to monitor, analyze, and report partner/location performance and derive proactive follow-up actions
- Representing Amazon Hub Pick-up & Returns with our partners and driving sustainable account growth
Your Main Tasks
You will cover the following tasks:
- Develop and optimize mechanisms and tools to enable scalable and efficient partner engagement
- Drive usage of Hub Pick-up and Returns by Amazon customers
- Implement review mechanisms to monitor, analyze, and report partner/location performance and derive proactive follow-up actions
- Act as a facilitator between internal and external stakeholders from Tech, Accounting, Marketing, Business Planning, Legal, and Product Management to optimize partner and customer experience throughout the complete project lifecycle
- Represent Amazon Hub Pick-up & Returns with our partners and drive sustainable account growth
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has:
- Experience with a proven track record within account management, project management, marketing, or sales positions
- An entrepreneurial mindset and feels comfortable in a dynamic, fast-moving, and ambiguous environment
- A proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget, and quality while overcoming unexpected challenges
- Good business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done autonomously
- Mastery of analytical thinking with the ability to capture and analyze data for decision-making
- The ability to visualize and communicate a long-term goal as well as to scope and execute on the required steps throughout the journey
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The basic qualifications include:
- 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The preferred qualifications include:
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
