Electrical Network Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Network Specialist to join our team in constructing, installing, and maintaining distribution electricity networks.

This role involves working collaboratively with the network team to ensure the network remains safe, reliable, and cost-effective.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting technical drawings and network line diagrams
  • Constructing and maintaining electricity distribution networks according to company policies, quality systems, and health and safety procedures
  • Responding to emergency situations on high/low voltage distribution assets

The successful candidate will possess a strong technical knowledge of overhead and underground line networks as well as exposure to best practices in a comparable environment.

A current Tasmania Electrical Licence is required along with Glove & Barrier qualification, valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle highly desirable), and White/Blue card. The incumbent may be required to travel within the state, including overnight or longer stays as required, and conduct work outdoors in various types of weather.
