Electrical Network Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in constructing, installing, and maintaining distribution electricity networks.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will possess a strong technical knowledge and experience working on overhead and underground line networks as well as exposure to external best practice methods in a comparable environment.
- Study and interpret technical drawings and network line diagrams
- Undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks in accordance with statutory requirements
- Emergency response on high/low voltage distribution assets
The role involves working collaboratively to ensure the network remains safe, reliable, and cost-effective. Travel within the state may be required, including overnight or longer stays as needed, and work outdoors in various types of weather.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current Tasmania Electrical Licence
- Glove & Barrier qualified
- A valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle highly desirable)
- A White/Blue card
