Lineworker is a vital position that involves the construction, maintenance and repair of electrical distribution networks. Our company requires skilled Lineworkers to join our team in Victoria.
About The RoleThis role plays a pivotal part in building and maintaining critical infrastructure assets. As a Lineworker, you will work alongside passionate professionals in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for studying and interpreting technical drawings, network line diagrams and maps. Your tasks may include undertaking the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution and/or transmission networks in accordance with Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements. Additionally, you may be required to participate in emergency response activities on high/low voltage distribution assets.
About YouWe're looking for experienced candidates who hold a Certificate III ESI in Distribution. It's essential to have a Current Electrical Lineworker Distribution Licence and a Valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle highly desirable). A White/Blue card (OHS construction induction card) is also necessary. Furthermore, previous experience within an electrical maintenance and construction environment is preferred. Ideally, you should have a strong commitment to safety protocols and have worked in high-risk environments.
