Project Delivery Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Specialist to lead the timely delivery of key programs and ensure optimal performance at our Mornington Depot. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while working alongside senior leaders to foster team growth, build strong relationships, and drive success.

The successful candidate will have expertise in electrical network management, be able to nurture team growth, and drive business advancement while enhancing their own skills. About the Role:

  • Manage personnel in accordance with Zinfra policies, ensuring only personnel with appropriate skills and qualifications are assigned to carry out required tasks.
  • Ensure ongoing performance management of the Overhead Distribution team and address performance issues promptly.
  • Provide guidance to enable safe and timely delivery of connections and appointment work in line with Client expectations and legislative requirements.
  • Consult and support counterparts to ensure resourcing ability enables delivery of the entire works program.
  • Capture and report all relevant data from the field.
  • Manage and motivate direct and indirect reports to ensure all work is delivered to specified scope, time frame, allocated budget, and quality.
  • Ensure resource capability, skill sets, and volume can service forecasted work safely and efficiently.
  • Manage internal resources, subcontractors, and suppliers using Zinfra's processes and procedures.
  • Program delivery efficiently to meet or exceed Zinfra and customer requirements.

About You:

  • Proven ability to drive safety culture and implement improved safety processes, systems & programs.
  • Understanding of Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks and VESI requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Effective cost centre management within approved guidelines, sharing resources for capital projects and achieving CAPEX & OPEX targets.
  • Demonstrated competency in utilizing resources and matching workforce capability and capacity for issued work.
  • Experience in planning or strategy.
  • Proven experience managing field teams.
