Financial Leasing Specialist Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Leasing Specialist to oversee and maintain accurate financial records and commercial leasing arrangements within our organization.

  • Collaborate with the Management Accounting team in month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Analyse monthly financial results, identify areas for improvement, and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
  • Support the investigation of material items and balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement budgeting and financial policies to optimize organizational operations and commercial leases.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to key stakeholders, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Conduct thorough financial data analysis, audits, and risk assessments related to business operations, commercial leases, capital investments, and risk management.
  • Review and verify lease terms and payment structures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Examine operating costs against lease provisions to optimize resource allocation.
  • Provide assurance about the accuracy and reliability of financial reports and leases.
  • Implement and maintain robust accounting systems to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial statements.
  • Assist in strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience with lease administration software and technical expertise.
  • Ability to review leases and extract critical information to inform business decisions.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly intermediate Excel skills.
  • Technical or functional expertise in finance and accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to grow with the organisation and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness in all aspects of work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in finance and accounting.
  • Pursuing CA or CPA certification is advantageous.
