Claims Decisions Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Decision Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Claims Management team, you will be responsible for making informed decisions regarding claims and transitioning them to Case Managers for ongoing management.
This requires strong technical knowledge of relevant legislation and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make informed decisions regarding claims
- Work closely with Case Managers to ensure seamless transitions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Required Expertise:
- 2 years or more experience in initial claims assessment (Case Manager), or 1 year or more in a paralegal or legal assistant position
- Strong working knowledge of Workplace Injury Rehabilitation & Compensation Act 2013 and associated Regulations, and/or a Legal Qualification
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
