Operations and Maintenance Leadership Opportunity

The Operations and Maintenance Superintendent is a critical role responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of various assets and sites throughout NSW. As a key member of the management team, you will report to the National O&M Manager and require strong leadership and management skills to drive business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate and manage a team of Supervisors and approximately Trades and Operators to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to deliver Operations and Maintenance in line with business plans and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of Asset Management plans, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Take ownership of O&M budget performance and contribute to annual business planning and reporting processes.
  • Champion best practice Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Management, promoting a culture of safety and well-being across all sites.

This role is based out of the project hub in North Sydney with regular travel required to sites located near Sydney and some regional locations.

Ideal Attributes:
  • Extensive experience working in the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or similar industries with significant leadership and management experience.
  • Proven experience in the management and delivery of Operations or Maintenance, both would be highly regarded.
  • Relevant trade (mechanical/electrical) within Fuel Operations.
  • Prior experience in Defence Fuels will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen to obtain NV-1 security clearance.
