Senior Claims Operations Specialist

As a senior claims operations consultant, you will play a key role in leading and executing the technical capability of the claims intake team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage escalated decision activities according to defined process standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance team knowledge and reduce future escalations.
- Provide expert support to the claims intake team in handling declined claims, responding to complex member enquiries, and managing complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Act as a subject matter expert in claims systems and processes.
- Assist the senior manager in daily workflow allocation, focusing on timely handling of urgent and declined matters.
- Demonstrated technical expertise with a deep understanding of claims processes and indemnity assessment.
- Ability to coach effectively to ensure process adherence, provide constructive feedback and guidance that supports team learning and enhances overall capability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex decisions clearly.
- Effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and contribution to a positive team culture.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills. This role requires delivering exceptional service and having a background in claims or a related field.
