Regional Refurbishment Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project manager to lead our regional refurbishment team.

Job Overview

This is a senior management position overseeing the delivery of reinstatement and refurbishment projects across multiple retirement villages in NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing high-quality refurbishments, overseeing team performance, and ensuring best practices across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a team of professionals to achieve excellence and collaboration
  • Establish high standards for the region through effective leadership and management
  • Manage reinstatement and refurbishment projects across multiple villages, working with stakeholders to ensure timely and quality project delivery
  • Deliver reinstatement and refurbishment projects as part of the resale process, prioritizing customer satisfaction
  • Create scope and specification documentation, distribute tenders, and assess tender responses
  • Ensure contractor and supplier safety and compliance on site
  • Provide direction to contractors and consultants to deliver projects efficiently and on time
  • Complete audits and Contractor onboarding processes
Requirements:
  • Experienced project manager in residential fit-out/refurbishments and renovations
  • Current driver's license essential, with weekly site visits and reimbursement for kilometers and tolls
  • Technical or tertiary qualifications in Property Management, Project Management, or Business Studies desirable; or Cert IV Building & Construction with 5+ years of project management experience
  • Outstanding organisational skills, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a time-sensitive environment
  • Great communication skills and strong computer literacy
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to provide direction to contractors and consultants
  • Resilient, solution-focused, and capable of problem-solving under pressure
