Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bush Regenerator to join our team in restoring the natural beauty of Australia's rainforests.

This role will involve working on large-scale restoration projects across the Northern Rivers region, focusing on eradicating weeds using environmentally friendly methods and collaborating with experienced conservationists to restore and preserve native habitats.

About the Role:
  • Eradicate weeds on Lord Howe Island using eco-friendly techniques
  • Assist with cultural burning practices to maintain ecosystem balance
  • Collaborate with conservation experts to restore and preserve native environments
Key Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Working in remote areas, including overnight camping and travel to Lord Howe Island
  • Participating in adaptive fire management for woodland and grassland ecosystems
  • Maintaining high levels of professionalism and adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess:

  • Understanding and experience in rainforest restoration
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications or current study in conservation and ecosystem management
  • Chemical Users Certificate and First Aid certification
