About the Role:

As a Restoration Technician, you will be involved in various restoration projects across NSW. This is a permanent full-time position with 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. You'll report to the NSW Operations Manager and work alongside experienced technicians. Role has the opportunity to grow into a more senior position as we expand within the state.

Key Responsibilities:

● Water/mould restoration (drying, remediation, strip-outs)

● Fire restoration (cleaning, contents disposal)

● Contents handling (assessment, remediation, inventory)

● Maintaining vehicles, equipment, and consumables.

● Preparing detailed reports, including damage assessments and cost projections

● Potential for regional and interstate travel during catastrophic events

● Potential for after-hours and weekend work (with applicable rates)

Essential Requirements:

● Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)

● Current and valid NSW driver's license (manual preferred)

● A willingness to learn – no experience necessary

● Exceptional customer service and communication skills

● Ability to work on-call/after-hours on a roster basis

● Electronic reporting skills

Desirable:

● IICRC accreditations (Water/Mold/Fire)

● Background/knowledge in building and contents restoration or cleaning/carpet cleaning

● Experience driving a truck

● Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check and or Police Check
