Restoration Technician Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as Restoration Technicians in Sydney, Australia.

About the Job

As a Restoration Technician, you will be involved in various restoration projects across NSW. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, reporting to the Operations Manager. This role offers opportunities for internal and external training and development, with the potential to grow into a more senior position as we expand within the state.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Restore water and mould-damaged properties by drying, remediation, and strip-outs.
  • Clean and dispose of fire-damaged contents.
  • Assess and remediate damaged contents, including inventory.
  • Maintain vehicles, equipment, and consumables.
  • Prepare detailed reports, including damage assessments and cost projections.
  • Be prepared for regional and interstate travel during catastrophic events.
  • Work after-hours and weekends on a roster basis.
Requirements
  • Hold a Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card).
  • Possess a valid NSW driver's license (manual preferred).
  • Show willingness to learn - no experience necessary.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Be available to work on-call/after-hours on a roster basis.
  • Have electronic reporting skills.
Benefits

  • A background/knowledge in building and contents restoration or cleaning/carpet cleaning is beneficial.
  • Experience driving a truck is advantageous.
  • A Working with Children Check and/or Police Check may be required.
