State Government Partnership Manager

About this Role:
">We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Public Affairs team in State Government Partnerships. This newly created role will play a vital part in shaping the healthcare landscape by unlocking patient access to medicines.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with state government, institutions, and private sector organizations to establish and maintain trusted relationships. They will have the opportunity to deliver new partnerships and funding agreements with state governments, accelerating access to life-changing medicines.
">This role requires a strong background in government processes and systems, as well as experience navigating complex regulatory environments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to build partnerships across various sectors, and have a proven track record of driving outcomes within the government landscape.

">Key Responsibilities:
">- Develop and execute strategies to engage with state government stakeholders, including politicians, advisors, and departmental officials.
">- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across various sectors, including government, universities, and the private sector.
">- Identify opportunities for partnership development and negotiate funding agreements with state governments.
">Requirements:
">- Proven experience working within state or federal government, either as a political advisor or a member of a relevant government department.
">- Strong understanding of government processes and systems, as well as experience navigating complex regulatory environments.
">- Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build partnerships across various sectors.
">- Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction and take the initiative to solve complex policy problems.
