Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Worker to join our team at City Facilities Management. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general commercial cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of high-touch areas.
  • Operate cleaning machinery, such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain all chemicals and equipment, ensuring they are stored and used in accordance with manufacturer instructions and company policies.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures, including City's Think Safe program.

Requirements:

  • Have a great attitude and willingness to learn, with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Own a smartphone, as you will be required to use our mobile app to report any issues or concerns.
  • Obtain a current driver's license and car, as you may be required to travel between locations.
  • Have Australian working rights, as we are an equal opportunity employer.

Shift Patterns:

Shift patterns may vary across store locations, but are normally:

  • 6:00am to 10:00am
  • 6:00am to 12:30pm
  • 6:30am to 10:30am (weekends)
