Poolside Bar Supervisor

The Poolside Bar & Grill is seeking a supervisory team leader to manage the operations on a shift-by-shift basis in the absence of the manager.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating customer service levels, acting as an escalation point for frontline bar staff, and ensuring optimum quality service to customers at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, organizing, scheduling, and allocating tasks and activities of the team
  • Assisting in achieving the successful implementation, development, and maintenance of operational procedures, standards, and goals
  • Providing operational support and assistance with financial evaluation
  • Demonstrating leadership to team members and participating in business development initiatives

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience working in a supervisory position and a passion for hospitality and customer service. A current RSA certificate is required, and you will need to hold or be willing to obtain an approved managers card.

Additionally, you should have previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment, be able to work across a rotating roster of morning, daytime, and evening shifts, and be willing to learn 3 plate carry and tray service of drinks.
