Effective Dispute Resolution Specialist

The Victorian Workers Compensation division is seeking an experienced Team Leader to lead our Dispute Resolution Team.
This pivotal role ensures fair, timely, and effective resolution of disputes between injured workers, employers, and insurers.
- Work collaboratively with the Group Manager to develop a pro-active approach to dispute resolution and conciliatory matters.
- Lead a team of dispute resolution professionals and administration assistants, providing supervision, coaching, and performance development.
- Oversight of intake, assessment, and resolution of disputes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policy.
- Promote and facilitate early resolution practices including conciliation.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including legal representatives and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor team performance and contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting, documentation, and case management.
Key Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of dispute resolution professionals.
