We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Support Specialist to join our team in supporting young people to develop essential life skills.
- Collaborate with young people to enhance their social learning, social responsibility, and emotional intelligence.
- Promote active participation and engagement among young people, empowering them to influence decisions affecting their lives.
This role involves working within our Intensive Therapeutic Care Program, providing supportive services to young people healing from trauma and striving for positive outcomes. As part of our diverse team, you will respect the dignity of all individuals and foster an inclusive environment.
The ideal candidate possesses experience in therapeutic work with children and young people who have faced significant challenges and trauma. A strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, as well as awareness of current issues impacting Aboriginal children, young people, and their families, is highly valued.
