Primary Care Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled medical professional to join our team as a primary care specialist in correctional environments. This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to enhance existing services and promote best practice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general medical services to patients within correctional environments in various facilities. To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Current medical registration with the relevant health practitioner regulation agency
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice or Australasian College of Rural and Remote Medicine
  • Specialist recognition by the Specialists Recognition Advisory Committee Award
  • Demonstrated significant experience in general practice with knowledge of contemporary clinical management
  • Experience in emergency medicine, general practice, adult internal medicine, or rural medicine is highly regarded
