Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned contracts professional to lead our contract administration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing head contracts, subcontracts, procurement, and financial controls to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and compliance targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead contract administration across head contracts and subcontracts
  • Oversee procurement activities including tender reviews, scope preparation, and contractor engagement
  • Manage subcontractor performance, claims, variations, and payment processes
  • Monitor project cost control, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and site teams
  • Support project planning by aligning procurement with construction timelines
  • Ensure contract obligations are understood and met across all parties
  • Uphold WHSE and quality management standards across the portfolio
  • Prepare and review monthly trade forecasts and financial assessments
  • Ensure variations are documented, costed, and approved in line with company processes
  • Maintain accurate document control and drawing registers
  • Mentor and support Junior Contracts Administrators and trainees
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Construction Management or related field
  • 6+ years' experience in a Contracts Administration role (ideally senior level)
  • Demonstrated experience on high-rise construction projects over $40M
  • Strong knowledge of Sydney's subcontractor market and commercial landscape
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong reporting and documentation skills
  • Confident communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced project environment and manage competing priorities
