ICT Support Specialist Opportunity

Moorabbin, Victoria — Our client is seeking an ICT Support Specialist to join its team on a permanent full-time basis at Moorabbin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing essential support, education, and guidance in the deployment and maintenance of computer infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responding to inquiries and providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for software and hardware problems.
  • Providing support to clients for Siemens PLM solutions, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Determining software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions to client issues.
  • Diagnosing, identifying, and resolving system problems and user-reported issues related to software functionality, data access, and workflows to ensure minimal downtime.

Additional responsibilities include installing, downloading, and configuring PLM system infrastructure, developing and conducting user training sessions, creating clear technical documentation, and liaising with users and senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering or Information Technology, or demonstrated experience in PLM software support or related roles.
Essential Skills
  • Proven expertise in PLM implementation and support, specifically with Siemens Teamcenter (including Rich Client, Active Workspace, and BMIDE).
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly the Solid Edge Portfolio including NX Portfolio for Design (Modeling, Mold Wizard, etc.), and Rhino.
  • In-depth knowledge of PLM modules including Requirement Management, Change Management, BOM Management, and MCAD Integration; Programming & Technical Skills including TCL, VB.NET, HTML.
Benefits

Annual salary: $80,000 plus Bonus plus Superannuation.
