Job Title: ICT Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking an ICT Infrastructure Expert to join our team. As an integral part of our Professional Services engineering team, you will take ownership and lead the team to deliver architecture, design, and delivery of complex data centre infrastructures for our customers.

You will be responsible for seeking out and analysing customer requirements to determine the best solution for their business problems, including discussing directly with customer management. Your tasks will also include conducting user requirement analysis and making recommendations that impact technical solutions.

In addition, you will undertake tasks requiring analysis of multiple technical alternatives, diagnosis and problem solving, then qualifying the product/service fit and defining support needs. You will define major technical solutions involving product and/or deployment and/or support services for clients or prospective clients enabling them to determine effective IT investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining key artifacts such as transition plans, runbooks, operating procedures, design documents (HLD/LLD, As-Builts), and knowledge base articles
  • Ensuring documentation is version-controlled, audit-ready, and aligned with compliance and governance standards
  • Managing client expectations prior to delivery of major solutions, strategies, and architectures
  • Leading cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of service transition and transformation
  • Translating complex technical concepts into accessible content for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Taking accountability for outcomes, proactively identifying and resolving issues
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation across project delivery
  • Embedding security best practices into all aspects of transition and transformation and promoting a security-first mindset across teams and deliverables

Requirements:

  • End-to-end experience in IT services transition and transformation
  • Demonstrable ability to lead cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of service transition and transformation
  • Ability to take accountability for outcomes, proactively identifying and resolving issues
  • Capacity to translate strategic goals into actionable plans and deliverables
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to converse with those at the C-Suite level
  • Robust hands-on technical experience in Data Centre, Windows Server environments solutions, design, implementation, and documentation
  • Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and maintain a broad knowledge of industry trends and technology solutions in the market that may impact solution architecture
