Operational Resilience Lead

The Operational Resilience Lead will drive initiatives to ensure continuity of service during surge events and incidents, with a focus on Operations.
This role will influence and drive enterprise-wide resilience, planning, exercising, deployment, operational policy governance, and emergency management services.
- Developing and implementing business continuity plans and procedures to manage risk and ensure continuity.
- Accountable for operational resilience and business continuity capability and preparedness.
- Reviewing and improving operational policies, programs, and projects to enhance response to incidents and emergencies.
- Designing and executing operational exercises, including analysis and formulation of recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incident management processes across the organisation and within the emergency sector.
- Represent the organisation by participating in sector-wide working groups and exercises.
- A proven ability to conceptualise, develop, and articulate solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
- An understanding of emergency services, telecommunications, employee relations, and relevant Government Policy.
- A Diploma/Tertiary qualification in emergency management or related discipline, or substantial experience in managing operational business continuity.
- Senior management experience within a best practice customer service organisation or contact centre operations.
