As the Operational Resilience & Emergency Management Lead, your key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert operational resilience and emergency management advice and support to Chisholm across emergency management, business continuity management and crisis management
- Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, managers and employees across Chisholm with Chisholm's external partners and agencies
- Contribute to the Operational Resilience and Emergency Management Framework, its ongoing development and implementation and its adherence to Chisholm's internal governance requirements and compliance with industry best practices
- Plan, develop and implement organisation-wide event exercises, including the development of corporate guideline tests and exercises of the emergency management, business continuity and crisis management process
- Review and update Chisholm's Operational Resilience policies, procedures and guidelines of Chisholm to ensure they include legislative requirements and best practice standards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Operational Resilience legislative changes and developments within best practice and incorporate these changes/improvements into Chisholm practice.
**ABOUT YOU**
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in emergency management, business continuity management and crisis management practices and techniques. You will have a strong understanding of regulatory, legislative, compliance and information management practices and have the ability to work collaboratively, build strong internal relationships, influence through credibility and negotiate through organisational resistance. Your experience in policy development, implementation and coordination will be evident.
**Qualifications required for the role**
A relevant degree and post-graduate qualification and experience, or extensive management and leadership experience or an equivalent combination of relevant management and leadership experience and/or certifications in emergency management, business continuity management and crisis management, business studies, project management or operational resilience-related disciplines.
