Job Title: ICT Infrastructure Support Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the management of the City's ICT infrastructure. As a key member of the IT Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Monitoring and Analysis: Perform regular system monitoring and analysis to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Escalation: Troubleshoot and escalate technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Operational Risk Reduction: Develop and implement processes to reduce operational risk and improve the availability of our ICT infrastructure.
  • System Development and Implementation: Collaborate with the IT team to evaluate, plan, and implement new system hardware and software solutions.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze operational data to identify emerging trends and improve problem resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Knowledge: Microsoft Server and Messaging solutions, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange.
  • Server Virtualization: Experience with VMWare and Cisco Hyperflex.
  • IT Service Management: Familiarity with ITIL v3 Foundation.
  • Qualifications: A qualification in Information Technology or demonstrated capacity to progress towards achieving these qualifications.
