Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ICT Systems Administrator to join our team. This is a highly technical role that involves implementing and maintaining our ICT standard operating environment, ensuring reliable and secure systems across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining operating systems, applications and software, including patching and updating systems, and troubleshooting issues. They will also manage user accounts and permissions, monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, identify and resolve problems, implement security measures to protect the network and data, manage and maintain network infrastructure, and provide technical support to users and other ICT team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in a relevant field
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, particularly Windows and Linux
  • Experience with networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Familiarity with server hardware and virtualization platforms
  • Experience with Cloud Services and technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with security best practices and tools
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety and You" Certificate of Completion or willingness to obtain
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting devices
  • Experience with digital voice communications and systems
  • Experience with SAP software
  • Certification in ITIL
  • Strong scripting knowledge
