About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and identifying new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing service work according to agreed workflows and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Service Work: Attend site, perform breakdowns, preventative maintenance, install, and commission equipment.
  • Workshop Tasks: Dismantle, assemble, clean parts, and use precision equipment while applying safety rules.
  • Planning/Coordination: Prepare and control material, equipment, and documentation for site activities.
  • Repair: Conduct detailed inventories, troubleshoot equipment, and recommend changes to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Prepare technical and work reports for customer signatures.

Requirements

  • Hold a mechanical trade certificate or have 2-3 years' experience working with turbochargers on marine vessels or mechanical fitters/diesel fitters.
  • Experience in rotating machinery service, particularly turbocharging, is preferred, along with knowledge of various turbocharger types and operating rotating machinery.
